Trichoderma Harzianum Powder
Trichoderma harzianum exerts its antagonistic effects on various plant pathogens through multiple mechanisms, including nutrient competition, hyper-parasitism, the production of cell-wall-degrading enzymes, and the induction of plant resistance. These combined actions provide both protective and therapeutic benefits. It is particularly effective in controlling soil-borne fungal diseases, such as bipolaris leaf spot, sheath blight, damping off, blight, and sclerotinia disease caused by botrytis cinerea, pythium, rhizoctonia, bacillus anthracis, fusarium, etc.

PRODUCT PARAMETERS

A beneficial microbial fungus that inhibits plant and soil pathogens.

[Action Principle]

[Mode of Action]

Trichoderma harzianum colonizes the rhizosphere, forming a “protective shield”around plant roots to prevent infection by pathogenic fungi. It secretes enzymes and antibiotic substances that break down the cell walls of harmful fungi. Its metabolic byproducts also promote nutrient conversion in the soil, enhance nutrient uptake by crops, stimulate root growth, and effectively improve both crop yield and quality. When applied in seedbeds, trichoderma harzianum formulations can boost seedling and transplant survival rates, helping seedlings grow stronger and healthier.

[Mechanism of Action]

Competition Effect: Trichoderma harzianum quickly grows in the rhizosphere and phyllosphere of plants, occupying the surface sites and forming a protective barrier. The process shield helps protect the plant's roots and leaves from pathogenic fungi, ensuring the plant can grow healthily and be free from pathogen invasion.

Hyper-parasitism Effect: Hyper-parasitism refers to a complex series of steps, including the recognition, contact, coiling, penetration, and parasitism of the pathogen.During the interaction between Trichoderma harzianum and the pathogen, the host fungus secretes certain substances that attract Trichoderma towards it. Once the host is recognized by Trichoderma, a parasitic relationship is established.

Antibiotic Effect:Trichoderma harzianum secretes certain antibiotics that inhibit the growth and colonization of pathogenic fungi, thereby reducing the damage caused by these pathogens.

Plant Growth Regulation Effect: Trichoderma fungi colonize plant roots and release compounds that stimulate plant growth and activate plant defense mechanisms. These compounds help improve the root environment, promote stronger plant growth, boost disease resistance, and ultimately increase crop yields and overall profitability.
